For Christmas on 2016 my family decided to go to Nepal to serve. Our church held a programme called Hope Youth Corps and it was based in Nepal. I was not excited to go. When we go there i was totally wrong about how I would feel. I met so many kind and outgoing people. I was roommates with Timothy Elzinga and Danny Grandy. They were really fun people to be around. I also started talking to these brothers named James and Douglas. The trip ended up being extremely fun and I leaned many new things. My favourite moment of the trip was when we went trekking near the Himalaya’s. When we got to the highest point of the trek, the view was breathtaking. I really enjoyed the trip and I would definitely do another hope youth corps.
My Achievements
EV3 Mindstorm Programming
I did a programming with EV3 Mindstorm. My dad set up an obstacle course for me. I had to program the EV3 to get through it and I nailed it. It was so fun learning how to code!
Man of the Match
Yesterday I played the first match of the JSFA season! We won the match 2-1 against NHIS, it was a good and tense match . I saved a penalty. I was originally a left-wing and that’s where I am best at. Judging by the way I play I think I am very good left-wing that scouts could look at. But I think I am also a good goal keeper, I made about 10 saves in the match. Si Woo and Ryan scored the two goals. I think it was a fantastic match!
JSFA Website Report
1 Goal, 2 Assist
Today (10/03/2012) we had an amazing top of the league match with Cita Buana School. One of strikers was away and our goal keeper was ill and came late. Undermanned ,we were down 3 -1. However we played our best and fought back for a 4 – 4 draw to maintain our chances of winning the league title. What a match! Check the next post to see the JSFA website report on our match.

I Love Soccer
I love playing soccer. My dad and I sometimes play at home and he trains me how to kick the ball properly. He also teaches me to dribble. At school I joined the U8 school team. I played in the Jakarta Schools Football League this past season, sponsored by Coca Cola and ESPN. Though my team only won one match, drew the other and lost the rest, I learned a lot. In fact we did win an award, the prestigious Fair Play Award. We went up the stage as a team to receive our award. Next year we plan to play better and win more matches.
